Evil Geniuses releases former Major winner

Evil Geniuses announced this evening that Will "RUSH" Wierzba has departed the organization after a year and a half being part of the main EG roster and the EG Black squad. RUSH, a former Major winner with Cloud9, was known as one of the best entries in the North American region and part of several triumphant rosters, including OpTic that won ELEAGUE Season 2.

RUSH's departure from Evil Geniuses comes on the heels of the organization making a major shift in their Counter-Strike program, which saw them move away from the main roster, keep Tim "autimatic" Ta, and promote the EG Black roster. As a result, RUSH was left as a "6th Man" who would be the official substitute for the team.

Those with knowledge of the situation told Dust2.us that RUSH is looking to be an active member of a team, prompting his release from Evil Geniuses.

In a prior tweet, RUSH declared that he was "as motivated as ever" for the arrival of CS2 and that he enjoys "helping players and people grow into a better version of themselves". With his experience, he can help guide younger North American players to the next step. RUSH remains one of the few bastions of North American Counter-Strike who are not only able but willing to pass down their experience and leadership to future generations of players.

The former OpTic, Cloud9, and Evil Geniuses rifler has said he is available as a player, coach, or leader for an organization ass he is eager to get back into playing and training the next lineup.
