MDL Season 32 Relegation set to start
MDL Season 32 Relegation is set to begin today and run until Wednesday, with the top four teams earning spots in MDL for Season 33.
Due to the regular season only featuring 16 teams after New Identity and ATK were promoted to EPL mid-season, this iteration of relegation only has three MDL squads with Bushido Boyz, Peeker's Advantage, and Just Swing all looking to defend their spot in the league.
Joining them are five squads from Advanced: Faint, Thunder Logic, iNTACT, Oceanus, and Rebirth, with second-place finisher Faint picking up the highest seed among them.
As a result of there only being three MDL squads, Faint will play a consolidation final rematch against Thunder Logic while the remaining Advanced teams will each play an MDL squad.
Like last season, the relegation tournament itself features a double-elimination best-of-three bracket, with teams needing two wins to qualify to MDL.
The first-round matches, which are all set to start at 9:30 PM EST, are as follows:
