ESL Impact League Season 4 open qualifiers sign-ups live

ESL Impact announced its dates for the upcoming season just two days ago, and now the sign-ups for the open qualifiers are finally available for any teams that want to guarantee their spot early.

The open qualifiers will occur from August 18th-20th and 25th-27th. Each qualifier will reward two teams entry into their regional division.

"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take and who knows, maybe you'll be the next one to lift the trophy!" is what ESL Impact tells its followers on Twitter, but Shimmer are living proof that it can be possible. The team went from winning the North American Open Qualifier #1 to being the only team without an organization playing the Impact League Season 3 LAN Finals in Dallas.

With the growth of the women's scene, Season 4 of ESL Impact is expected to be the most competitive to date and there might be surprising results even during the open qualifiers.

The two teams from each qualifier will join four invited teams who are yet to be announced. In the North American division, they will play a group stage where the top two teams from each group will advance to the playoff stage. The playoffs will match the #1 team from Group A with the #2 team from Group B and vice-versa, and the winners of those series will go on to the LAN Finals in Valencia.
