Saffee safely on the bench

FURIA have made their second move of the offseason as they are moving on from Rafael "saffee" Costa who is rumored to be joining MIBR alongside also recently benched FURIA teammate, André "drop" Abreu.

saffee had a meteoric rise to the top with FURIA with his first significant event being IEM Katowice 2022. The AWPer, joining from paiN, would start slow with his new team, but soon found his peak between IEM Cologne 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 17, only having one event with an HLTV Rating below 1.00.

saffee's departure comes at a precarious time in the Brazilian scene as several other organizations are making simultaneous roster moves. paiN has only recently announced the benching of Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato and Wesley "hardzao" Lopes, two players that propelled them to the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

For saffee, he is in high demand and his rumored addition to MIBR continues to make sense after the organization benched their star AWPer, Henrique "HEN1" Teles yesterday evening.
