stamina's Demon Time takes shape

Bobby "stamina" Eitrem has returned to activity with a new lineup less than two weeks after his surprise removal from Nouns. The IGL debuted his new squad last night in the second IEM Brazil Open Qualifier, where Demon Time managed to make it to the second day after a close win over Limitless.

Alongside stamina, Demon Time, consists of a number of players who have found themselves on the outs of top ECL projects in recent months. The most well known name on that list, Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney, will likely look to prove he still has the competitive spark after exiting EG Black and Vendetta due to out-of-server issues. Likewise, Jordon "jitter" Ruggiero will look to prove his detractors on Strife wrong after the young player was cut from the lineup due to "chemistry, trust, and professionalism" issues.

Matthew "D4rtyMontana" Paplawskas, on the other hand, doesn't have any baggage heading into Demon Time, however his departure from Disconnected will likely cause some friction with his former teammates. Due to the sudden departures of D4rtyMontana and Silas "silas" Marrufo, Disconneted will be unable to retain their spot in ESL Challenger League Season 44 as Christopher "Swahn" Swahn is the sole remaining player from last season. The team could theoretically use Dave "seziwana" Schrage and Tianyi "Fr3nk1e" He, however due to the latter player leaving in acrimonious circumstances, it seems highly unlikely. Swahn did not respond to a request for comment by the publication so the ultimate fate of Disconnected will need to be seen in the near future.

The final member of Demon Time, Austin "AAustiN" Urb, returns to activity after hanging up the mouse on multiple occasions for school. He will look to prove himself once again after fruitful periods on Recon 5 and Strife in 2021.

For those who are curious, the tag Demon Time comes from stamina's previous dalliance with VALORANT in 2020. While Demon Time currently don't have an ESEA league spot, stamina told Dust2.us that the goal is to receive an invite to ECL Relegation or ESEA Advanced depending on their performances in upcoming qualifier and cash cups.
