Slugy embroiled in FACEIT controversy again

Former 7AM NA and Victorum player Bradley "Slugy" Kohler has found himself at the center of another controversy from comments made in a pickup game on FACEIT today. The most recent act in question sees a string of chat messages directed towards three players, LemonIsBlue, akbeast, and C4LLM3SUE, that are racist and offensive towards the trio, who are Chinese.

While playing the aforementioned FACEIT free match, Slugy for an unknown reason began to hurl abusive comments towards LemonIsBlue, akbeast, and C4LLM3SUE, repeatedly calling the trio "chinks" and saying he "hop[ed] they di[ed] of COVID". Slugy went on to say that Chinese people are "bad at everything except cheating" and "stealing".

Other highlights of his recent tirade include repeatedly calling one of the players "retard", "retard chink", and telling C4LLM3SUE to "kill yourself".

As previously mentioned, this isn't Slugy's first or even second time being in hot water for not being able to control himself online, with the player having been previously banned from FPL for offensive comments. While NA FPL Product Manager Jared "Slove" Sloven told Dust2.us he hasn't had a chance to discuss the matter with Slugy or devised a long-term punishment, he has been taken out of FPL once again and currently has a queue ban for verbal abuse.

Additionally, British organization 7AM have removed Slugy from the organization with immediate effect after becoming aware of his comments. Slugy was recently moved to the bench after out-of-server disagreements, with Max "SolGoat" Wallace admitting the team could "no longer work with Slugy on a long-term basis".

While SolGoat declined to go into further detail, Slugy's lack of personal control has consistently held him back, and these recent comments will only further damage his already mixed reputation in the NA semi-professional scene.
