Strife complete lineup with reck
Strife have competed their roster with the addition of former BHOP player Ethan "reck" Serrano. His addition fills the gap in the lineup left by the recent retirement of Paul "aris" Wilson and also caps off a lengthy rebuilding period for Strife that began when Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk was cut back in March.
reck is most known for his multiple stints with Adam "WolfY" Andersson's Secret Club squads in 2020 and 2021, making Premier playoffs on two occasions under the Swedish-American IGL. Following the dissolution of that lineup, reck took an extended break from competition before recently returning to play for Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz's BHOP squad. With BHOP, reck posted a 1.11 rating over nine maps.
Regarding the addition of reck, Strife's IGL, Bobby "stamina" Eitrem, told Dust2.us that the team needed to find a new fifth on a relatively tight timetable due to the upcoming ESL Challenger Valencia qualifiers. Additionally, due to Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan and David "J0LZ" Jolin both being busy last weekend at LAN events they did not have time for extensive tryouts. As a result, after running their first tryout with reck and finding that he was a strong fit for the squad, they decided to move forward with signing him to maximize the amount of practice time before the qualifiers.
With reck, Strife are now:
-
Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan
-
David "J0LZ" Jolin
-
Bobby "stamina" Eitrem
-
Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar
-
Ethan "reck" Serrano
-
Anton "ToH1o" Georgiev (Coach)
Strife and reck will be playing in the first ESL Challenger Valencia open qualifier tomorrow when it kicks off at 06:00PM.
