zews to step in for Liquid at EPL Season 6 Finals
Due to the roster locks of the ESL Pro League, Team Liquid's new addition Lucas "steel" Lopes will be unable to play with the American team at the EPL Season 6 Finals. The team's coach, Wilton "zews" Prado, will step in for the event in Denmark. It was already known that zews would play for Liquid at the ELEAGUE Major Boston qualifier, due to a separate set of roster restrictions. The North American team finds themselves in a group with Fnatic, FaZe, Astralis, HellRaisers, and Luminosity.
As such, Liquid will have the following lineup for the event in Odense:
- Nick "nitr0" Cannella
- Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
- Josh "jdm64" Marzano
- Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
- Wilton "zews" Prado
Due to steel still residing on the Immortals EPL roster, he remains eligible to play for the team in the relegation tournament. It is not currently known if Immortals will be able to or opt to field a roster for that event, as recent reports have suggested that Tempo Storm are looking to acquire the services of Bruno "shz" Martinelli and João "horvy" Horvath.
