Kinship add TiCx and freshie ahead of ESEA Advanced Season 41
Connor "TiCx" Hartman and Adam "freshie" Paterson have been announced as the newest members of Kinship following the departures of Sean "Subarashii" Tuttle and Mike "clipsanity" Yelnikov. The move for TiCx was announced on Twitter by Sebastian "Florence" O on April 8th, while the announcement of freshie arrived today, April 19th. With ESEA Advanced Season 41 scheduled to kick off on April 25th, Kinship now has their starting five.
The previous iteration of Kinship that concluded ESEA Advanced Season 40 barely missed out on an opportunity at promotion to ECL. After earning the 6th spot in the division with an impressive 9-5 record, the squad failed to attain the final spot in the ECL Season 40 relegation after losing to UYU in the 5th place decider. It was following this disappointing exit that the roster decided to retain its core of Florence, Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore, and Benjamin "niise" Mauldin, alongside their coach Dave "Dave" Tereshin heading into the new season.
TiCx comes into the Kinship roster off the back of a five-season run with Touch Point in ESEA Advanced. The team faced much disappointment in their most recent playoff run, losing out 2-0 to Limitless and being eliminated from promotion contention. Following their disappointing playoff run, Touch Point decided to rebuild around Brett “Beastman” Eastman and Nikolaos “PoseidoNN” Antoniou.
As for the second addition, freshie's Eros side was relegated to ESEA Advanced following losses to UYU and Unjustified at ESL Challenger League Season 40 relegation. This relegation came after two consecutive seasons in the ESL Challenger division, with freshie hoping to return there next season as part of Kinship.
Kinship's revamped roster will make their debut in ESEA Advanced when the season commences on April 25th.
Kinship will field the following roster:
-
Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore
-
Sebastian "Florence" O.
-
Benjamin "niise" Mauldin
-
Connor "TiCx" Hartman
-
Adam "freshie" Paterson
-
Dave "Dave" Tereshin (Coach)
