Gaimin Gladiators sign Bwills
Gaimin Gladiators have added Brendan "Bwills" Williams on a permanent basis, replacing Otto "garfield" Netteberg on the starting lineup, although of course the latter player never actually played for the team. His addition to the team comes after helping the team win ESEA Spring Cash Cup 2 2022 over ATK last week.
The addition of Bwills marks the end of a period of roster instability for Gaimin Gladiators after receiving the news they would be unable to use garfield during ESL Challenger League Season 40 due to being out of roster additions. Following this news, the team fielded Riley "Reality" Fusch and Zack "XotiC" Elshani as stand-ins for the remainder of the season. More recently, the team used Third Impact player Jeff "RZU" Ngo during the Ace North American Masters qualifier.
Orgless' dissolution seems to have provided the perfect opportunity for Gaimin Gladiators to pick up a top player, as Bwills has experience with multiple players on the team and was looking for a new start.
The addition of Bwills is an important step for Gaimin Gladiators as they look to build a top team and legitimize themselves in the scene after a troubled past with the community.
Gaimin Gladiators are now:
-
Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly
-
Dominick "JazzPimp" Dimpfel
-
Jeorge "jeorgesnorts" Endicott
-
David "cynic" Polster
-
Brendan "Bwills" Williams
-
Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen (Coach)
The team are signed up for the second IEM Dallas 2022 open qualifier on April 19th. They will look to claim a closed qualifier spot and join the likes of Liquid and Evil Geniuses in the fight for a spot in NA's only S-tier LAN event this year.
