Valors sign RUNnGUN lineup
Valors have fielded a new starting five ahead of ESEA Advanced Season 41, hoping to mimic the success brought in by the former lineup that reached ESL Challenger League. The previous team would only play one series in the season before inflammatory in-server behavior by former player Matthew "nero" Seymour led to the lineup's fallout. Valors did not wait long to get their brand back into Counter-Strike, signing the new squad just over two months later.
The new Valors lineup, formerly known as RUNnGUN, had an incredible second-place finish inside of ESEA Main last season. They ended the regular season with a league-best 13-1 record and looked more than ready to make the finals with ease. RUNnGUN were sent to the lower bracket in the second round by CLIPPING4CHRIST, but rallied back in form following the mishap to win seven straight BO3s and secure a grand finals appearance.
Although they fell short in the finals, the young lineup did more than enough to promote to ESEA Advanced and earn themselves a new home in Valors, where with the support of the organization, the growing players will be able to hit new peaks together. As a former representative inside of ECL, there is no doubt the Valors organization wants to get their brand back to the bigger stages inside of North American Counter-Strike.
Valors' new roster consists of:
-
Gabriel "Gabie" Novich
-
Cedric "Melio" Perrault
-
Antoine "sup3rant" Dubois
-
Gabriel "tENSKI" Rodrigue
-
Brandon "YuZ" Cyr
The new Valors lineup will have a week to prepare for Season 41 of ESEA Advanced, beginning April 25th.
