Report: Luminosity eye fnx as NEKIZ replacement
Luminosity are looking to replace their longest-tenured member, Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato, with Lincoln "fnx" Lau, according to a report from Draft5.
This would be the second move that the team has made since getting bumped down from ESL Pro League to MDL, first replacing Gustavo "yeL" Knittel with Ricardo "boltz" Prass. Draft5 had previously reported that yeL is set to replace João "horvy" Horvath on INTZ.
If the move comes to fruition, Luminosity's roster would be:
- Lucas "steel" Lopes
- Henrique "HEN1" Teles
- Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles
- Ricardo "boltz" Prass
- Lincoln "fnx" Lau
- Rafael "zakk" Fernandes (Coach)
This same fivesome played together under Immortals from February to May of 2017, before fnx was replaced by Giuseppe "kNgV-" Vito. At IEM Katowice 2017, their first event together, they placed 3-4th, and also finished as runners up at DreamHack Open Austin 2017.
