FACEIT teases the addition of team leagues
The organizer has teased the most anticipated addition to its platform.
After the first map in the grand finals concluded, FACEIT teased the addition of team leagues to its platform in a cinematic short video.
The lack of team leagues on FACEIT has long been a detriment to the platform, as its competitiors, ESEA and CEVO, both featured a team league as well as a pug system under its monthly subscriptions, with the former currently boasting itself to be the largest CS:GO league in the world.
Details are expected to be released in the coming weeks as the FACEIT Major comes to a close. It is likely that the team leagues will have a connection to the Esports Championship Series, à la FACEIT Pro League.
