FURIA and myRevenge qualify for Advanced Season 29
After the dust settled in yesterdays Advanced qualifier, two teams have secured a spot in the division for next season.
The first team is the Brazilian side FURIA, who just recently completed a move to the United States. The Brazilians had a relatively easy path through the bracket, only dropping double digits on a singular map in the final matchup against Small Meats United, a team featuring former Grizzlys player Alex "vek" Voynov.
FURIA will look to replicate the success of their countrymen oNe, who won the division after their move to the states, and are hopefuly of securing a spot in MDL for the next season.
On the other side of the bracket it was myRevenge who emerged victorious. The team featuring the former eRa core of Jacob "SPERMY" Younan, Hunter "koga" Allen and Wyatt "tw1ggy" Blatt had a similarly easy time of it as their Brazilian counterparts, not dropping a single map. This was tw1ggy's first action since leaving his teammates high and dry by electing to not attend the Mad City Chicago CS:GO Open back in March.
The top four of the qualifier look as such:
1-2. FURIA (spacca, yuurih, arT, VINI, kscerato) - ESEA Advanced S29
1-2. myRevenge (SPERMY, tw1ggy, koga, Reality, LenNox) - ESEA Advanced S29
3-4. Small Meats United (Huston, 1junior, exotic, vek, EEIU)
3-4. FilthyCasuals (cronads, lane, bean, shonk, Lumber)
The full bracket is available here.
Similar qualifiers will play out over the next two days for Main and Intermediate, teams can sign up here.
The new ESEA season is currently set to start September 10th.
