WESG Americas qualifiers are just around the corner
The Americas qualifiers for WESG will kick-off on November 7 with the United States and Brazil qualifiers — and the last day for interested teams to register will be tomorrow. Regional behemoths such as Cloud9 and SK will throw their hats in the ring for one of the spots that lead to the WESG Americas Regional Finals, which will be held in February of next year.
Because WESG rules have nationality restrictions on rosters, every team must be comprised solely of players from one country (even in qualifiers that have multiple countries participating). Due to this, many North American ESL Pro League and Premier teams and players have not registered for the qualifiers yet.
It is not known if some last minute mixes of Professional and MDL-level players will be made, but here is a listing of all the notable teams that are currently signed up to take part across all of the qualifiers, along with the dates the qualifiers will run, and how many slots will be awarded to the Regional Finals from each:

The Regional Finals are just the second step in the process, however, as the top teams from that event will then head to China in March of 2018 for the WESG 2017 World Finals. That event will have $1,500,000 in total on offer, EnVyUs won the 2016 iteration of the event in their last tournament before the most recent French shuffle took place.
