ben1337 joins Etherian, Kwong out
Etherian has announced on their Twitter yesterday the signing of Ben "ben1337" Smith to their team. Eric "Kwong" Kwong later tweeted out that he was indeed the player replaced on the roster, with ben1337 taking over the in-game leading duties.
Josh "oSee" Ohm and Ian "motm" Hardy both played with ben1337 in the past on the famous Ben's Anime Team, who competed in a season of MDL and attended Fragadelphia 11.
Etherian are currently 5-3 in NA MDL, picking up a big win over the previously undefeated Torqued today. Two of their previous losses came to Atmosphere, who came close to beating Torqued themselves, and subtLe. If their form with ben1337 continues, this squad will have a good chance at securing a spot in the playoffs.
ben1337 had this to say about joining the roster:
I’m proud and excited to join this team hopefully I can give them what they want as an IGL. I am very confident we can do damage with this lineup.
Kwong also gave a comment, saying:
I feel like it was a poor decision to replace me but some of the teammates saw things differently then I did.
I'm not sure whats next for me but looking at options.

Etherian's next match will likely be against RONIN next week in MDL.
