100 Thieves pull out of StarSeries and IEM Katowice qualifiers
For a multitude of reasons, 100 Thieves have pulled out of two upcoming qualifiers. These are the closed qualifiers for IEM Katowice 2018 and StarSeries i-League Season 4.
For the IEM Katowice 2018 qualifier, which kicks off tonight, ESL have announced that there'll be no replacement for them. Instead the team they were set to face off against, NRG, will receive a bye to the next round of competition.
For the StarSeries i-League Season 4 qualifier, the team will be a swapped out for Rise Nation. StarLadder have announced that this will be a straight swap, as the American team will face off against NRG, coincidentally. StarLadder also delved into slightly more detail over why the Brazilians were to be pulling out, namely the "lacking of a permanent 5th player for this moment and issues with their game house".
