jL criticizes PC setups after playing in BLAST Bounty quarterfinals
Even though Natus Vincere survived a tough match against paiN on January 24th to advance to the semifinals of BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1 Finals in Copenhagen, their star rifler Justinas "jL" Lekavičius isn't entirely happy. In truly esports fashion, the 22-year-old took to X to rant about the PC setups in CS2 tournaments.
"Having the same setups in practice rooms and in the arena/studio is crucial for us players," jL wrote. "We spend many hours getting used to a new setup and all those hours are basically wasted if we come to the studio and it's completely different."
"(Provide) same tables, same chairs, same pcs, ESPECIALLY THE GPU. Don't mix AMD and NVIDIA. Don't make our lives harder alternating between two setups."
While it's not confirmed this situation happened at the BLAST Bounty Season 1 Finals, it's rather unlikely that jL would raise concerns about PC setups out of nowhere.
Additionally, jL explained that setting up a NVIDIA graphic card is "different" than an AMD counterpart as NVIDIA is "very in-depth and AMD is more for casuals." The Lithuanian pointed out that pro players generally use NVIDIA GPUs.
Dust2.us reached out to BLAST for comment but did not receive a response by the time of publication.
