Complexity confirm cxzi and nicx signings
Complexity have announced the signings of Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk and Nick "nicx" Lee today, confirming the report from Dust2.us earlier this month.
The two products of the North American Counter-Strike pipeline will officially fill the gaps left by the now-released Ricky "floppy" Kemery and Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski. The move means that Complexity will still maintain its status as a majority American lineup.
Instead of the white star on the blue jersey, both cxzi and nicx will don the classic red-and-black Complexity jersey when they make their debut. Founder and owner Jason Lake confirmed the start of the "throwback era" hours today's roster announcement.
The six year odyssey in the tier two NA scene has finally ended for cxzi, having played for groups like Triumph, Party Astronauts, and most recently Undone. nicx is a newer face in the scene, but is getting a big chance to prove himself on Complexity.
The official 2025 Complexity roster now stands as:
-
Johnny "JT" Theodosiou
-
Michael "Grim" Wince
-
Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli
-
Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk
-
Nick "nicx" Lee
-
Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen (Coach)
Complexity will debut with cxzi and nicx at the BLAST Bounty Spring closed qualifier beginning January 14th. The team has also received an invite to stage one of IEM Katowice.
