Three North American teams invited to IEM Katowice

ESL have announced the 24 teams invited to the $1 million IEM Katowice 2025, which will run from January 29 to February 9.

Liquid, Complexity, and Wildcard are the three teams from North America that made the list, which contains all the top teams in the world according to the Valve Ranking System (VRS).

All three NA teams will start IEM Katowice in Stage 1, previously known as the play-in, due to their position on the ranking. Besides the NA trio, Stage 1 will also feature Imperial fe, the only female team attending the tournament.

There are 16 teams in Stage 1 and only half of them will advance to Stage 2 where the likes of Spirit, G2, Natus Vincere, and Vitality await.

Just like BLAST Bounty Season 1, IEM Katowice 2025 will also feature Train instead of Vertigo as ESL included the reworked map in the rotation.
