Make Your Mind and Vagrants top NA Revival Series December 2024 OQ

Yesterday the open qualifier for the final NA Revival Series of 2024 was played out, seeing 58 teams sign up to fight for two spots in the $5,000 event. As can be expected, the field consisted of a mixture of ESL Challenger League and ESEA Advanced squads mixed in with a number of mixteams and random stacks. With that said, when the smoke cleared ESEA Advanced Season 51 champions Make Your Mind and the recently formed Vagrants roster were the two squads to claim spots, with both teams taking down strong opponents on their way into the main event.

With the turnout being lower than usual this time around, the first three rounds of the qualifier were relatively uneventful, with the most notable teams exiting the bracket at this stage being Marco "Pol0" Hernandez's Axolotls mixteam, the Ukrainian Immigrants Peek roster, and MCS.

In the fourth round of the bracket a new-look Final Form roster was felled by Make Your Mind in a close 13-11 win Dust2 while Vagrants dispatched the Mexican MarcaRegistrada roster 13-8 on Ancient.

In the qualifying round, Make Your Mind claimed another close win over Undone, taking down Josh "steel" Nissan and co. 13-9 on Inferno, besting them for the second time in recent weeks. The other qualifying match between Vagrants and Akimbo ultimately went down to the wire, requiring all 24 rounds to be played before Vagrants came out on top 13-11 on Nuke.

The main event will start tonight at 06:00PM with Party Astronauts playing FLUFFY AIMERS while Nouns will face off against Vagrants.
