FLUFFY MAFIA go back to the drawing board

Dust2.us has confirmed that FLUFFY MAFIA have disbanded with Jennifer "bored3m" Ivanova telling the publication that the roster has split up, leaving her to build a new roster for ESL Impact League Season 7 next year. The dissolution of FLUFF MAFIA's first roster comes despite an incredibly successful first season in the Impact League, which saw bored3m and co. finish in second place ahead of the likes of notable teams like TSM Impact, Nouns.fe, and Blue Otter Karma.

Despite this success, FLUFFY MAFIA were unable to lock in a LAN spot due to the NA region only featuring a single LAN spot during Season 6, something that left the long dominant FlyQuest RED as NA's sole representative in Stockholm.

bored3m told Dust2.us that the team split somewhat quietly due to the squad not being the most serious project, while also being motivated by a desire of the team's three Russian-speaking players, Iuliia "sckrafft" Gerasimova, Yana "sakura" Beresneva, and Daria "daria" Anokhina to play together on a Russian-speaking lineup next season.

With FLUFFY MAFIA losing their core, bored3m's new lineup will need to play next season's Open Qualifier should one exist, with bored3m saying she is close to finalizing FLUFFY MAFIA's new roster, just needing a final player to fill out the ranks.
