What to expect from Complexity v. M80 at the PW Shanghai Major Americas RMR
Two familiar foes and top-ranked North American rosters will meet in a pivotal match at the Perfect World Major Americas RMR. Complexity and M80 have drawn each other in the fourth round, with a victory guaranteeing a spot in the Major.
While a loss would not guarantee elimination, it does make the road to the Major much harder. The team that loses will need to win a do-or-die series in the fifth round of the Swiss Stage, and depending on seeding may have to play in the decisive 7th place tiebreaker.
Complexity start strong, but cool off v. MIBR
Complexity reached the advancement window after two straight best-of-one wins on Anubis, first against BESTIA and then against BOSS. But after dropping the first map on Nuke in their series against MIBR, the NA team suffered an uncharacteristic loss on Vertigo, surrendering an 11-9 lead by losing four straight rounds on their typically strong CT-side.
