Wildcard go flawless through to the Major; Nouns go winless back to NA

After a surprising first day full of upsets, day two of the PW Shanghai Major Americas RMR felt much more natural, as the favorites won the 1-1 bracket matches.

On the qualification front, both series featured upsets, though, as MIBR beat Complexity and Wildcard defeated 9z. Unfortunately for NA, the only elimination upset was Nouns', as KRÜ eliminated the DAO-backed squad and RED Canids proved their superiority, sending Case home.

Wildcard continued impressing and qualified for its first-ever Major with a 2-0 win over 9z, ending the Americas RMR with a flawless 4-0 map record. Complexity couldn't do the same, as the squad lost 2-0 to MIBR, in two close 13-9 and 13-11 maps. The Complexity players will now face another North American team in M80, who managed to bounce back to a 2-1 record with a 13-5 win over Legacy after a shaky first day.

The match of the day tomorrow will be between Liquid and FURIA in the 2-1 bracket, where the winner will claim a spot in the Major. Both teams won comfortably today, Liquid beat BESTIA 13-4 and FURIA beat BOSS 13-1. The other qualification series will feature a clash between 9z and paiN, which should also be a tight match.

The elimination series will see only a single North American team in BOSS, as they will face BESTIA. Complexity beat both teams in day one but struggled more against BOSS. KRÜ and Imperial are also set to clash, just like Legacy and RED Canids, as Marcelo "coldzera" David will try to defeat his former team.
