What to expect from M80 v. BESTIA

The Americas RMR at the Perfect World Major is getting closer and closer, but before M80 begins their extensive EU bootcamp, they’ve got to warm up at the Thunderpick World Championship.

As the lone North American roster at the event, excluding Legacy, which technically qualified via the NA qualifier, M80 begins its run in Berlin against the Argentinian BESTIA roster.

M80 comes in hot

Fresh off a first-place finish at ECL S48, M80 is looking to build up even more momentum before heading to the RMR. Over the last month, the trio of Elias "s1n" Stein, Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich, and Mason "Lake" Sanderson have each averaged a 1.20 or higher on the new HLTV 2.1 rating. All this while only losing one best-of-three series.

BESTIA with no time to rest-ia

BESTIA enters Thunderpick fresh off their own ECL run in South America, but they tragically finished just shy of an ESL Pro League spot after losing in three maps to MIBR in the lower bracket final. They’re pretty inexperienced internationally and against NA; their last match against a non South American roster was against Wildcard at the PGL Copenhagen RMR.
