Valve to issue final Pre-RMR seeding today
Valve is set to issue their final ranking update today which will be used for the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major RMRs. The first Regional Major Ranking event to take place will be the Asian RMR on November 11th.
The rankings will be used to determine which teams will participate in the two European RMR groups and procure the opening matchups for the Americas and Asian RMRs.
Perfect World has already released the entire rosters for the teams attending the upcoming RMRs which includes some surprise additions by North American squads. Complexity have elected to add Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney to their lineup while Wildcard listed Polish rifler Kamil "Sobol" Sobolewski to their ranks. CLASIA was likely added as the 21-year-old rifler is currently a free agent and should have no serious entanglements should one of Complexity's players be unable to attend the RMR or fall ill during it.
Argentine organization BESTIA listed benched player Ignacio "meyern" Meyer as their sub for the event, while MIBR listed recent addition Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves as their substitute. MIBR's decision to add Lucaozy as a substitute comes down to the fact that their roster remains locked with Breno "brnz4n" Poletto, meaning they will need to sub Lucaozy in at the start of the event for brnz4n.
Nouns, BOSS, Wildcard, and Legacy are the four North American entrants to the RMR after securing their invite through the Closed Qualifier held earlier this year. They will find out their opponents later today.
