What to expect from Complexity v. Imperial
Complexity's run at IEM Rio did not start as well as they expected, falling to Liquid on Inferno. The international squad finished the first half up 8-4 after their T-side and never relinquished control of the map. Now Complexity must face some local favorites on Imperial, with no room to breathe down in the lower bracket.
Complexity's big guns need to get loud
It was a dismal showing from Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski on Inferno, only posting six kills during the entire map. Complexity showed at Pro League that they're capable of winning without EliGE having to put on heroic performances, but EliGE at the bottom of the scoreboard usually means a Complexity loss. Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli also failed to produce much impact on the AWP.

Imperial on the rise?
Imperial recovered from their mid-year lull in recent months, but they realistically stood no chance against the world's number one team in Natus Vincere, and were unsurprisingly vanquished on Nuke, 13-2. Imperial originally weren't supposed to be at this event, but they replaced a Rare Atom squad that was beset by visa issues. Like Complexity, they impressed at Pro League with wins against BIG and MOUZ before falling to M80 and Spirit.
