Sean Gares teases potential entry of Shopify Rebellion into Counter-Strike 2

Yesterday, Sean "seang@res" Gares announced that after spending the past two years signed as a content creator to Shopify Rebellion, he has made the change to become the organization's newest General Manager of the Tactical FPS division.

Shopify Rebellion was founded in 2021 and since then has hosted teams and players across a number of titles, including VALORANT, League of Legends, Halo Infinite, Rocket League, and StarCarft II.

In his announcement, Sean Gares stated that he will take management responsibilities for "the VALORANT team, the Counter-Strike 2 team potentially in the future, as well as any other games which happen to slot into this moving forward."

While initially, he will focus on rebuilding the organization's VALORANT program for the VCT Challengers circuit, he is looking to expand further, "Counter-Strike, that's something that as I get more familiar back into the space, kind of soak up the entire scene and things I might have missed over the past couple of years, I also want to be reached out to by anyone who thinks they deserve to be on that team."
