Limitless' roster woes continue as DJF steps down

Can this team catch a break?

Last night, Limitless announced the departure of Dylan "DJF" Ferreira from the team's ranks, seeing the organization's roster trouble continue as the team has had to field different rosters due to ESL Challenger League roster rules. The loss of DJF comes at an especially unfortunate time as Limitless would have finally been able to field their full roster in ECL S48 as Jerric "wiz" Jiang and Andrew "Tender" Cote had just finished playing their required matches to hold onto the ECL spot.

As Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich explained to Dust2.us at Fragicago 2024, DJF elected to step down from Limitless due to his full-time job leaving the 23-year-old rifler unable to meet the team's practice and event commitments.

Dust2.us understands that Limitless were set to add Chance "xaler" Palmer as the team's new IGL ahead of their CCT Season 2 NA Series 3 match against undefined last night, however xaler elected to not join the team, leaving them unable to play the match. xaler told Dust2.us that he decided to not join the roster due to concerns over the roster and his ability to significantly improve the lineup.

With xaler out of the picture, Limitless will now need to scramble to find a new fifth as ECL S48 rapidly approaches its conclusion, with the team currently looking set to play relegation.

Limitless are now:

  • United States Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich

  • United States McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison

  • United States Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield

  • United States Justin "Sandman" Saulle

  • United States Brennan "Aureo" O’Connell (Coach)

Limitless' next match in ECL S48 is scheduled to be against E-Xolos LAZER on September 24th.
