WILDCARD STAY ALIVE
Wildcard have finally gotten their feet under them with a tremendous victory over KOI this afternoon to ensure their survival in ESL Pro League Season 20.
The international squad suffered tough defeats to Spirit after a record-breaking performance by donk, while also losing against their South American compatriots 9z. However, today the lineup were able to bounce back with a thunderous performance against the Iberian squad.
The series began once again on Wildcard’s pick of Ancient, where the NA-based squad came out roaring with a 7-5 first half T-side lead. Wildcard continued to apply the pressure in the second half as they bounced back from a pistol round loss to power through with a 13-8 victory.
It got even better on Nuke as Wildcard smothered KOI’s offense. The Iberians couldn’t break through their defenses as they struggled to get four rounds on their own. From there, is was easy as Wildcard mopped it up to secure a 2-0 victory thanks to their 13-7 map win.
