Americas RMR team list fully sorted

The North and South American Closed Qualifiers for the 2024 Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR have been completed with some surprises in both regions.

Teams like NRG, Fluxo, Party Astronauts, and more failed to qualify for the Chinese LAN event after being favored to do so. The South American qualifier had some surprises as two Argentinian squads advanced while in North America, the orgless BOSS squad finished in 3rd.

The final day of the North American Closed Qualifier featured some thrilling matches as the Brazilian squad Legacy eliminated NRG in the 2-1 match, while FLUFFY AIMERS once again proved their worth in their match against E-Xolos LAZER.

The aforementioned BOSS took down Elevate across all three maps, with some controversy in the final rounds of the game due to split differences on how a round should be reset due to a player crash. Ultimately, the round was reset over the protests from Elevate, who later won the round and forced a second overtime where they then lost the series.
