Attack of the Clones win Fragadelphia Brentwood
The second day of Fragadelphia play in Brentwood, Missouri went about as expected with Attack of the Clones taking their rematch against boyfriend_peek2 by a series score of 3-1. IUPUI Jaguars rounded out the podium with a third place finish after defeating Hugh Jass Construction in the lower bracket final.
IUPUI Jaguars and Hugh Jass Construction traded 16-13 wins on Vertigo and then Overpass, but the collegiate varsity Counter-Strike squad managed to take the decider on Mirage by that same scoreline after mounting an impressive second-half comeback. At times the Jaguars trailed in the map 10-1 and later 12-5, but managed to claw their way back into the match thanks to a Herculean 32-kill effort from Chris "CMX" Moe, who tallied 21 of those 32 kills in the second half. The Jaguars finished on a tear and won eleven of the final twelve rounds to advance to the consolidation final.

Things came to a screeching halt for IUPUI Jaguars in the consolidation final and they were absolutely battered by boyfriend_peek2, particularly Nick "nicx" Lee. nicx finished with 65 kills in 45 rounds, a K/D of +36, and a rating of 2.15 in the series. IUPUI Jaguars managed just four second-half rounds in the entire series as boyfriend_peek2 advanced to a grand final berth with ease.

boyfriend_peek2 snagged a series-equalizing opening map win on their pick of Overpass, thanks largely in part to a 32-kill map from Eric "spud" Wickenhauser. Attack of the Clones locked it down from that point forward however, allowing boyfriend_peek2 just seven rounds each on Mirage and Inferno to display that they were a cut above the rest of their Midwestern opposition. The largely Premier lineup allowed just two second-half rounds in the latter two maps and were led by Dylan "SATURN" Finch, who finished with 69 kills in the series win.
