Flickshot Series 2 postponed to November
Per an announcement today by Voxel Esports, their second Counter-Strike 2 LAN event, Flickshot Series 2 has been postponed, with the Miami event being moved to the first week of November. The $5,000 event was previously scheduled to run from August 30th to September 1st and will now run from November 1st to the 3rd.
The mid-size LAN event will be hosted at the ROK Esports Center in Palmetto Bay, Florida, which also previously played host to a Fragadelphia LAN back in April.
While the Fragadelphia LAN only had a modest turnout of nine teams, and Voxel Esports had to cancel their first event, Voxel's owner, Tyler "Techne" Nguyen, told Dust2.us back in May that the plan is to do more outreach and advertising to hopefully draw more teams down to the Sunshine State.
With there now being a little less than four months until the LAN, hopefully the additional planning time and time for teams to save money will allow the small TO to pull off a successful event.
