MIGHT return to full strength with new trio
Last night MIGHT announced a number of changes to their roster, seeing Matthew "scar" Bruni and Tianyi "Fr3nk1e" He step down from the lineup while Jonathan "Jonji" Carey, James "JAM" H. and Nolan "Louie" Herges have joined the team's ranks to return the roster to full strength. With this new roster MIGHT will look to fight their way back to ESL Challenger League after being demoted following a league-worst 5-23 record in ESL Challenger League Season 47.
MIGHT had been on the lookout for a replacement for Noah "Nifty" Francis after the former Envy player retired on June 10th, however the team found the need to replace another member as scar told Dust2.us that he is set to take a break from competition to go to law school in Canada. Likewise, Fr3nk1e also seemingly stepped away from the roster, although Dust2.us was unable to get a comment on why the Chinese rifler left his former team.
In the trio's place, the most high-profile addition is without a doubt Jonji, although the former top NA prospect has been out of the conversation for some time. His most recent role before MIGHT was Retirement Home, a for-fun mixteam of semi-retired players that found modest success in ESEA Advanced Season 49, making playoffs and finishing in the top eight.
The next piece, JAM, joins the squad after being away from competition for some time, with his last teams being Orion at the start of 2023. As for Louie, he should be no stranger to fans of MIGHT as he has been a sub for the team and many occasions and has now been called up to a permanent spot.
MIGHT are now:
-
Jonathan "djay" Dallal
-
Ryan "Snakes" Amann
-
Jonathan "Jonji" Carey
-
James "JAM" H.
-
Nolan "Louie" Herges
-
Calvin "becker" Becker (Coach)
