Off Season Shenanigans Season 4 reaches semifinals

The grassroots league is in the semifinals of its fourth season.

Off Season Shenanigans Season 4, the fourth iteration of the aptly-named off-season Counter-Strike 2 tournament, has reached the semifinals, with four teams remaining in the running for the $650 top prize. The league, which began in June 2023, was founded by South African-American player rTx as a tournament designed to run during the twice-yearly player breaks while giving interested teams the opportunity to compete and keep up their match fitness in between seasons.

For Season 4, Off Season Shenanigans featured 24 teams competing in a Swiss-system tournament to narrow the team list down to eight teams. Among the teams in attendance include ESL Challenger League squad Revenge Nation, ESEA Advanced playoffs squads regain, OutGoing, and MCS, and a number of other squads featuring players with ESEA Advanced and Main experience.

Within the final four, Revenge Nation is set to take on Maximum Ego while MCS will be facing off against regain. The semifinals for OSSCS S4 are set to start on July 7th, with community casters for the remaining three matches in the league to be announced.

The semifinals matchups are as follows:

Revenge Nation v. Maximum Ego United States
United States MCS v. regain United States

The prizepool for Off Season Shenanigans Season 4 is as follows:

1st - $650
2nd - $300
3rd/4th - $50
