MOUZ sign koi as assistant coach/analyst
MOUZ have signed American coach and analyst Colin "koi" Thor to shore up their support staff with the team currently competing in PGL Stockholm 2021.
His signing comes after an extended trial period with the team, with koi having helped MOUZ in their preparation for ESL Pro League Season 14, IEM Fall: Europe, and the IEM Winter 2021 European Closed Qualifier.
Prior to joining MOUZ, koi was most known for his time playing for Michigan Tech Huskies' collegiate CS:GO program, working alongside former Chaos and Triumph player Logan "Voltage” Long. He made the decision to leave the program and take time off from college in July, moving to Croatia in September to pursue opportunities in the European scene.
koi joins a growing list of North American coaches and analysts that have found their fortune in the European scene, joining NIP's Danny "mahone" Hsieh, former FunPlux Phoenix analyst Hunter "Lucid" Tucker, and Nordavind's former coach Joshua "m1cks" Micks. While opportunities have continued to dwindle in North America it seems top European teams have become more aware of the insight North America's top minds can bring to their teams.
MOUZ are now:
- Robin "ropz" Kool
David "frozen" Čerňanský - Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras
- Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand
- Christopher "dexter" Nong
- Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg (Coach)
- Colin "koi" Thor (Assistant Coach/Analyst)
MOUZ are currently playing PGL Stockholm 2021 and have a 1-1 record in the New Challengers stage following a win over Sharks and a loss to Heroic. koi will be helping the team prep for their match against ENCE tomorrow at 5:15 EDT.
