ex-Take Flyte roster complete move to Perseverance
The former Take Flyte roster have completed their move to a new home with Canadian Perseverance announcing the signing of the ESL Challenger League squad today. Along with signing the former Take Flyte quartet, Perseverance have also brought in Chance "xaler" Palmer, reuniting the rifler with his former teammates after their paths diverged back in January 2024.
The former Take Flyte lineup is Perseverance's second foray into the NA Counter-Strike scene, having previously hosted an ESEA Advanced squad featuring xaler and Andrew "Andrew" Burrell, among others, that disbanded after crashing out of ESEA Advanced Season 49 playoffs.
With this roster, Perseverance will likely look to find a more long-term project to sink their teeth into as the core have been together for more than a year while maintaining a more-or-less consistent level in the NA subtop. As part of the signing by Perseverance, Take Flyte's owner, Saben "Sabe" Neale, alluded to the fact that the roster may be able to spend some time in Europe. This will be a key opportunity for the roster as Collin "CoJoMo" Moren is the only player to have spent any time in Europe, a region that has been described as having far better practice than what North America can offer.
Perseverance are now:
-
John "mds" Marin
-
Gabriel "Gabe" Shah
-
Collin "CoJoMo" Moren
-
Cory "shutout" Frymark
-
Chance "xaler" Palmer
-
Mark "CooperTrooper" Cooper (Coach)
