Take Flyte lose lineup as roster jumps to new organization

After two seasons, Take Flyte's roster is set to move on to a new home.

Take Flyte after announced the departure of their roster after two seasons as the squad is set to join a new organization, according to Take Flyte's owner Saben "Sabe" Neale. The move sees Collin "CoJoMo" Moren and co. jump to a new home after previously making the move from OMiT to Take Flyte ahead of the lineup's debut in ESL Challenger League Season 46.

During the squad's time under Take Flyte saw the team compete in two seasons of ECL, with the squad making playoffs on one occasion during Season 46, which saw the team being eliminated in round one by FLUFFY AIMERS. Outside of the league, the team were a regular competitor in open qualifiers across the past ten month, however they struggled to make deep runs outside of making the closed qualifier for ESL Challenger Jönköping back in April.

The team also made the finals of the GG EZ Dallas 2023 LAN back in October 2023, ultimately falling to a Badass mixteam in a close series.

According to Sabe, his former squad's move to their new organization will supposedly allow them the opportunity to spend some time in Europe competing, which should help the squad improve heading into the second half of the year. As for Take Flyte itself, Sabe says the goal is for the organization to return to CS2 in short order.

Take Flyte's roster consisted of:

  • United States John "mds" Marin

  • United States Gabriel "Gabe" Shah

  • United States Collin "CoJoMo" Moren

  • Cory "shutout" Frymark

  • United States Mark "CooperTrooper" Cooper (Coach)

Wow, finding an org that can support a trip or boot camp in Europe sounds like a good deal.
