Carpe Diem part ways with Seb

Shuffle season is in full swing.

We've seen players like Casper "cadiaN" Møller, Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa, Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan, and Adam "Grizz" Golden officially depart their squads this week and now Carpe Diem is added to the mix as Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich is in search of a new home.

The rifler was on the squad since January when he joined from Unjustified. While Carpe Diem went through some roster changes this season, he remained as a valued member of the lineup while they competed in numerous online qualifiers and during ESL Challenger League Season 47.

"There was simply some role clashing towards the end of our run together," Seb explained to Dust2.us. "They felt that in order to make the system work better they wanted to explore their options in finding another rifler who can play more aggressive roles."

Carpe Diem just barely made playoffs this season when they finished tenth in the league. The squad hoped to rebound in the playoffs, but were ultimately eliminated in the first round at the hands of LAG.

Carpe Diem is now:

United States Mason "Lake" Sanderson
United States Jerric "wiz" Jiang
United States Jack "micro" Ryan
United States Andrew "Tender" Cote
United States Ashlynn "Valkenn" Brady (Coach)

Carpe Diem will now be on the lookout for a new fifth ahead of the start of ESL Challenger League Season 48 on July 15th.
