Third Impact make upper management changes

sp0rk will shift to an ownership role, while snooze will take the reins as CEO.

Some changes are coming down from the top within Third Impact as long-time CEO and co-founder of the organization, Kenneth "sp0rk" McGaffey, has decided to move away from the operations side of the team, making way for Hunter "snooze" Lile to become the brand's next CEO.

In his tweet sp0rk notes that he hopes the move will allow him to devote more time to therealm.gg, a project that appears to be primarily focused on facilitating the hosting of Apex Legends tournaments with standardized but customizable rulesets.

Third Impact first entered CS:GO in November of 2019, making their way to ESEA Premier through ESEA Advanced and most recently qualifying for DreamHack Open June, where they lost 0-2 to paiN and RBG.

snooze noted that the change shouldn't have any immediate impact on the CS:GO squad and stated that Third Impact are happy with their roster at this time and look forward to their continued progression.

Third Impact are now:

  • United States Keanu "DaneJoris" Reyes
  • United States Noah "insane" Eheart
  • United States Brennan "grape" Greer
  • Canada Walker "walker" Harris
  • United States Brett "brett" Rhein
  • United States Calvin "becker" Becker (Coach)
  • United States Austin "Classy" L. (Analyst)
  • United States Kenneth "sp0rk" McGaffey (Owner)
  • United States Hunter "snooze" Lile (CEO)

Third Impact are slated to participate in Mythic Summer Cup 1 beginning tomorrow, where they will play for a $3,500 prize pool plus additional funds that can be allocated to fund a trip to Fragadelphia 15 later this summer. Undoubtedly, those funds would make sp0rk's promise to get Third Impact to LAN substantially more manageable.
