FlyQuest BOSS NA around
It was a tough match for BOSS as the squad barely missed out on stealing FlyQuest's map pick just to find themselves on the end of a brutal defensive stop by the Australians on their own pick of Ancient. The Americans struggled to get things going on their offense in a stark contrast to their match yesterday against BIG. Overall while there were some positives to take away from the lower-bracket matchup, it was a tough match to watch so early in the morning for NA fans.
It was so close for BOSS on Inferno, as they were inches away from taking this series to the brink. The Americans struggled in the first half on their CT side, claiming only five rounds. However, the momentum swung into BOSS' favor, as they found themselves in the lead on their T side, being the first to get to eleven rounds. FlyQuest was able to climb back, eventually closing out the map in regulation to secure a 13-11 lead.
Ancient was a tough map for BOSS, as the squad's T-side momentum on Inferno did not translate to their own map pick. The Australians held BOSS at bay, only letting them get the opening pistol and anti-eco before claiming nine rounds of their own. BOSS were blanked on their CT-side as FlyQuest cleanly closed out the map 13-3 and took the series 2-0.
BOSS are now in the last chance bracket and will need to get back into the swing of things if they want to stay alive in the competition.
