droid departs Eclipse and retires from CS:GO
Damian "droid" Boulware has retired from CS:GO and parted ways with Eclipse, Dust2.us has confirmed with the player. Like many players over the past twelve months, droid is set to try his luck in VALORANT.
Over the course of his time in CS:GO, droid played six seasons of ESEA Premier/MDL, recently ending Season 36 with a 3-6 record on Eclipse. droid confirmed with Dust2.us that he will be staying on the team's ESEA roster to play pre-relegation with the team and relegation should they lose their match against Third Impact.
It is worth noting that droid is currently permanently banned on FACEIT for cheating, having been banned on March 18th. droid for his part maintains his innocence, stating he has tried to appeal the ban with no reply from FACEIT. Dust2.us reached out to FACEIT regarding droid's ban but did not hear back at the time of publication.
Without droid, Eclipse are now:
- Matthew "nero" Seymour
- Nick "zeptic" Kaoud
- John "john" Bruyea
- Robert "robby" Brown
droid is set to potentially make his final appearance in CS:GO on April 1st against Third Impact at 8PM EDT as Eclipse look to hold onto their Premier spot for Season 37.
