Jonji and co. claimed the first seed in Group A after a 9-0 regular season

Meanwhile, GGPR, Rise, Recon 5, and Secret Club have all secured spots in Season 37.

The regular season of ESEA Premier Season 36 has come to a close, with Bad News Bears claiming the top seed in Group A with a perfect record, while Triumph finished at the top of Group B just ahead of High Coast due to beating the squad in week four.

The final week of the regular season saw a number of important series played out in Group B. Triumph clinched the first seed in the group after claiming wins over RBG, The Commission, Recon 5, and claiming a forfeit win against Secret Club. Meanwhile, Rebirth rose to claim the third seed in Group B following wins over Levitate, Secret Club, Recon 5, and Third Impact. At the bottom of the standing, ImPerium avoided direct demotion and claimed their first win of the season against The Commission, besting Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg's troops 2-1.

Over in Group A, the only series of note saw Oceanus lock in their playoff spot and take the third seed from Mythic following a one-sided victory over SKDC.

Notably, Bad news Bears finished the regular season with three players in the top five while Jonathan "Jonji" Carey claimed a season-high 1.51 rating.
