Complexity eliminated from PGL Copenhagen Major
Complexity couldn't claim a third victory in the Elimination Stage of the PGL Copenhagen Major after starting it with a 2-0 record. FaZe took down the North Americans in the 2-2 bracket, eliminating Complexity from the event.
FaZe, who have been having poor performances in Copenhagen, went back to their old ways and showed their usual level of play today, which proved to be key to claiming a spot in the Royal Arena playoffs.
The series started on Nuke, picked by FaZe. Things started pretty horrendous for the North American squad, with a 0-7 start to the CT-side. Complexity would get five straight round wins to make it a 5-7 half and even started the T-side with the pistol round win but that would be it, as FaZe would go on to win six in a row and claim the 13-6 win.
Overpass was next, picked by Complexity. FaZe opened a healthy 4-0 lead before Complexity could get their first win on the T-side. It took some time but the North Americans managed to end the first half with an 8-4 deficit. The CT-side started off well, with Complexity winning the pistol and the following round but that would be all, as FaZe would win all of the remaining rounds to win the map 13-6 and the series 2-0.
With this loss, Complexity end their run at the PGL Copenhagen Major with a 2-3 record.
