Canadian duo spearheads PGL Copenhagen Major Caster talent
Following the announcement of the analyst talent, PGL has also revealed the voices who will bring the games to life during the PGL Copenhagen Major, starting March 17th. Mohan "launders" Govindasamy and Conner "Scrawny" Girvan are the only North Americans in the casters list, which features four British casters, one Australian, and one Dane.
Alongside the voices come the eyes, as PGL also announced the observers who will control what everyone sees. In this category, only one North American will represent the region: Efren "encg" Chuong. encg has worked in previous PGL majors, such as Antwerp in 2022 and Stockholm in 2021.
Joining the Canadian duo of launders and Scrawny are three other very well-known casting pairs such as Anders Blume and Henry "HenryG" Greer, Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill and Alex "Machine" Richardson, and Hugo Byron and Harry "JustHarry" Russell. Most notably, this is HenryG's first Major since StarLadder Berlin, in 2019.
Regarding the observers, the PGL Copenhagen Major will feature eleven of them, three more than the previous PGL Major in Antwerp and four more than the last CS:GO major, in Paris, organized by BLAST. Most of the team has previous Major experience in observer roles.
