Lore enter CS2 with Advanced playoffs squad
American esports organization Lore have entered CS2 with the signing of Slava Ukraine, an ESEA Advanced team currently competing in Season 48 playoffs. The organization, mostly known for his presence in Call of Duty, began operations in September 2019 and has also previously hosted teams in VALORANT, Rocket League, and Halo Infinite.
Before being signed by Lore, Slava Ukraine made ESEA Advanced Season 48 playoffs with a 10-4 regular season record. In playoffs, the team faced off against Zomblers in the first round, being bested 2-1 and sent down into the lower bracket. They will now face off against McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison's The Nomads to try and keep their playoff hopes alive.
The most known player on this lineup is Illya "supa" Filanchuk, a 27-year old Ukrainian player who has previously featured in Advanced playoffs multiple times over the years.
