Wildcard embark on Serbian bootcamp
With the PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR less than three weeks away, Wildcard have joined a number of squads heading to Europe to bootcamp for the Major qualifier. According to the team's manager, Jeremy "Jeremy9000" Gray, Wildcard have just touched down in Belgrade, Serbia, where they are set to have a ten-day bootcamp at the Relog Media facilities.
Wildcard are looking to claim one of the five much-coveted Americas spots in the first CS2 Major, having started their journey with an impressive 3-0 run in the NA Closed Qualifier.
Wildcard's run in the Closed Qualifier started with wins over vagrants and BOSS, before seeing Wildcard take down M80 in a close 2-1 match, earning Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and co. a huge scalp ahead of the RMR. Wildcard aren't the only NA team in Europe at the moment, as Nouns are currently in England at Endpoint's facility in Sheffield and Complexity are in Warsaw at the Kinguin Performance Center.
Wildcard's first opponent in the Americas RMR will be Brazilian squad RED Canids when the event kicks off on March 1st.
