A new home for Tommy

Former EG coach Axed finds new home

He didn't have to explore his options for too long.

It wasn't too long for Tom "Axed" Ryan to find a new home as he was announced as the coach of BOSS last night. The former Wildcard roster has already made waves in North America following their departure from the organization by qualifying to ESL Pro League Season 19 ahead of their former employers.

As for Axed, he leaves the former RBG to Evil Geniuses core that he spent more than 850 days with. The tearful goodbye comes as the entire team has parted ways, with Jadan "HexT" Postma has already signed with NRG, Colby "Walco" Walsh is set to join Unjustified, Paytyn "junior" Johnson and Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott have joined Nouns, and Timothy "autimatic" Ta is set to take a short break, leaving Axed in a team with no players.

BOSS, meanwhile, are continuously growing in stature domestically as they have earned the aforementioned ESL Pro League spot and are one of the favorites to advance out of the 2024 PGL Copenhagen Major Americas RMR Closed Qualifier coming this January.

Axed begins his new adventure with BOSS and will look to help his new squad make it to the Americas RMR in Monterrey, Mexico later this March.

BOSS is now:

  • United States Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore

  • Canada Adam "freshie" Paterson

  • United States Brett "brett" Rhein

  • United States Matthew "d4rty" Paplawskas

  • United States David "cynic" Polster

  • United States Tom "Axed" Ryan (Coach)

I agree! I don't know why they picked up arguably the least consistent squad when there was much better free agents available.

its cus reason picked up a squad that they paid no salary, this team would presumably demand some incentives to represent an organization
