Shimmer announce new General Manager and Interim Coach

Shimmer announced today that the team is adding Scott "ParkS" Park to the squad as the new General Manager. While the team is searching for someone to fill the coaching role, ParkS will also act as the team's interim coach.

The team might be going through a major reshaping, as Julie "Bouchard" Bouchard has already left the team and, for the moment, Lucy "empathy" Verkaik is staying with the team, but, is looking to join a European organization-backed team if the opportunity arises in the meantime.

Dust2.us reached out to the new GM of Shimmer who said that the team is still looking for a head coach and a fifth player to round out the squad. ParkS' main goal as the General Manager is to find an organization that can support the team. ParkS is co-owner of LCA Broadcasting, who sponsored Shimmer's jerseys worn during the LAN Finals in Valencia, and he was also seen at the event supporting the team.

At the moment of publication, Shimmer is open to considering offers from any organization. The search for a home might prove to be difficult, given the current state of the Americas region in the Impact scene, the usual costs of running a roster, and the, ideal but not a requirement, attempt to bring Phoebe "phoebe" Winter all the way from Australia to the United States of America. Alas, Shimmer have proven again and again that they are capable of surpassing expectations, being the only squad to ever reach two ESL Impact League LAN Finals without being supported by an organization.

ESL Impact Season 5 starts on February 12th with the open qualifiers, but Shimmer have already confirmed their spot in the regional division, which only starts March 6th. Until then, Shimmer need to find a fifth player and will keep looking for an organization to call home to, as well as a head coach.
