Monstars bring on Oderus and c4Lypso for shinobi and Swisher
Monstars have solidified their roster ahead of the start of ESEA MDL Season 34, bringing on Chad "Oderus" Miller and Abdo "c4Lypso" Agha in place of Josh "shinobi" Abastado and Michael "Swisher" Schmid.
Dust2.us was told by the team that shinobi elected to take the season off in order to give VALORANT a try.
As for Swisher, he told Dust2.us that he wanted to play Season 34, however he decided to step down from Monstars' starting five due to wanting to find a team with a more rigorous practice schedule. In lieu of being able to find a team before the start of the season, he will also be dipping his toes into VALORANT, while also planning on returning for Season 35.
Oderus has been without a team since February when he was replaced by Paytyn "Junior" Johnson on Recon 5. Likewise, c4Lypso has been looking for a new team after LiViD released their lineup in March and Michael "miLLe" St-Pierre was brought on as his replacement on District 7.
With these changes, Monstars are now:
- Ian "tex" Botsch
- Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce
- Ethan "ReckMONSTER" Serrano
- Chad "Oderus" Miller
- Abdo "c4Lypso" Agha
- Justin "JMaldo" Maldonado (Coach)
The new-look Monstars lineup will be making its debut tonight against Infinity at 10 PM EDT in their first match of ESEA MDL Season 34.
